PROMITOR soluble fibre

PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre is a corn based soluble fibre with over two times the digestive tolerance of inulin, reducing the possibility of digestive discomfort and increasing consumer satisfaction. Its high fibre content makes PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre ideal for use at lower inclusion levels to reach nutritional targets while ensuring consumer acceptance and comfort.  PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre is an excellent choice for adding back the bulk and viscosity of nutritive sweeteners in reduced sugar products, enabling manufacturers to improve viscosity and mouthfeel. PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre provides clean taste, and texture, and superior digestive tolerance so you don’t have to worry about consumer acceptance.

Tate & Lyle is leading the industry in understanding consumers’ views on fibre and the role it plays in their diet. We surveyed 8800 consumers around the globe, to understand what they think and what they want when it comes to fibre. Most individual consumers fall considerably short of the various country guidelines for fibre consumption, which range between 25 and 40 grams per day. According to consumers, their low consumption frequency is largely due to a lack of access to products with fibre.

Testing has shown that PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre has excellent process and shelf stability, even in low pH conditions.  PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre doesn’t break down into sugars like other soluble fibres might during storage. So you can be confident that the fibre and sugar content of your product will stay consistent over its entire shelf-life.

Our non-GMO ingredients offer the same functionality as their traditional counterparts without compromising on taste or texture, meaning you can offer your consumers everything they’re looking for in the foods and beverages they love.
